Setting deposit limits
Your Guide to Setting Deposit Limits on UK Slot Sites
By regulation, all UK licensed online slot sites must have an option where the player can set a deposit limit. A deposit limit allows you to choose how much money you’re allowed to deposit at a slot site via methods listed in your account, at an amount and frequency of your choice e.g. £10 per day, £30 per week, etc.
While this is not something you need to do, it’s strongly recommended if you’re prone to getting a little carried away.
Generally, most slot sites will offer you the chance to set a deposit limit as soon as you open your account. All operators are required to take reasonable steps towards the prevention of problem gambling.
However, incase you’ve accidentally skipped this step or the slot site failed to you offer this via the onboarding journey, you’ll still be able to set a deposit limit.
You’ll want to head on over to the area of your account where you make a deposit, usually called ‘Cashier’. Within the cashier, you’ll want to look for a link along the lines of ‘Bet limits’, Deposit limits’, ‘Staking limits’, or just ‘Set limits’. Once you click the link, you’ll be able to set your deposit limit.
It’s important that you set a limit you can afford to lose. Gambling is gambling, and you might not get any money back at all.
